Before Care
Prior to your permanent cosmetic enhancement think about the look that you wish to achieve. As experts in the field of color analysis and makeovers, we ensure that the correct colors and styles are chosen for you, however you are part of the decision-making process. We have the right to refuse service for any reason.
Permanent cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions (at least two procedures total, initial procedure and touch up). To achieve the best results, you will be required to return for at least one control procedure four to six weeks after the initial application.
Be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to fourteen days. Once the skin is completely healed in 4 weeks, the color will fade 20-40% and the size will shrink about 10%-15%.
For sensitive and delicate skin, areas may be swollen or red, you are recommended not to make social plans on the day of your enhancement but it is not required.
Please wear your normal make-up to your enhancement appointment.
Do not take aspirin or Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to and after your enhancement.
Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor.
Keep alcohol intake to a minimum 24 hours prior to your enhancement.
Do not have ANY caffeine for at least 24 hours prior to your enhancement.
A sensitivity test will be performed unless waived upon request.
Do not use Retin A skincare products close to the enhancement area 1 month prior to and after your procedure.
Do not use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area 2 weeks prior to and after your procedure.
As with electrolysis the National Blood Service does not accept donations of blood for 1 year after a permanent cosmetic enhancement.

After Care
How to take care of the new eyebrows (over first 7-14 days or until scabs are completely gone)
· Clean the area at the end of the day with a damp cotton pad and filtered/distilled water.
· Treat it like a fresh wound or a cut but on your face.
· For oily skin, dry heal (None to very little ointment applied to the eyebrows). After 48 hours.
· For non-oily skin, apply After Care gel/cream 1-2 times daily after the first 48 hours.
· Keep eyebrows dry (avoid them being submerged in water for too long; ex. Swimming or sauna. A quick shower or washing face is fine, just avoid the eyebrow area)
· Avoid any chemicals/skin-care products/sunscreen around the treated area.
· No exercising, tanning, waxing or threading. Try to avoid the sun from the area.
· No makeup, eyebrow pencil, lotion or other facial products on the area.
What to expect (days may vary for everyone)
- Immediately after: shape may appear uneven due to swelling
- Day 1 – 3: eyebrows will appear very darker and sometimes too thick and bold.
- Day 4 – 7: eyebrows will be dry and itchy. Do not scratch, rub or pick at them. They may start to scab, crack or flake off. Eyebrows will look patchy and uneven during healing process. It is absolutely normal and crucial to leave them alone. Please DON’T PANIC.
- Day 7 – 10: scabs should be all gone (some can take up to 3 weeks)
- Sometimes eyebrows will appear as if there is no color. The remaining color has absorbed under the layer of skin and in the following week it will resurface as skin cells repair.
- Week 3 – 4: eyebrows will appear their true color (with a little more fading left in the next few weeks). Eyebrow might still look patchy or have an uneven shape. There are some cases where the pigment does not retain well.
- Week 4 – 6: come back for a touch up. Any small corrections can be made at this visit. Remember it is not considered a touch-up after a certain period and you will be subjected to pay more than a touch-up price (refer to policy/FAQ)
After they are healed, sun exposure and certain chemicals such as Retin A can make the pigment fade away quicker and even change colors. Therefore, it is highly discouraged use skin care products on the treated area and encouraged to avoid the sun and use sunscreen on the area after they are completely healed. This will lead to a longer lasting semi-permanent makeup.
Please Note:
Subjective effect on different individuals, e.g. skin types that affect the attachment of color. Most clients will need one touch up session; some will only need one, some wont need a touchup and some may need a third or even fourth touchup to complete the look at an additional charge.
