AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, purchasing a service, enrolling in a training program, attending a consultation, participating in an apprenticeship, purchasing a digital product, attending an event, or otherwise engaging with Empress Ink Tattoo, Empress Tattoo Academy, BrowsWithYena, or any affiliated artist, instructor, employee, or contractor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Your booking, payment, enrollment, attendance, or participation constitutes your acceptance of these policies and serves as your electronic agreement to these Terms & Conditions without the need for a separate signature.

If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, do not book, purchase, enroll, or participate in any services or programs offered by the studio.

DEPOSITS

A deposit is required for most appointments, services, trainings, and programs. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the service, artist, instructor, appointment type, training program, promotion, or event.

All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Deposits secure your appointment time and compensate the studio for reserving that time exclusively for you.

Deposits are credited toward the total cost of your service unless otherwise stated.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Appointments may be rescheduled without losing the deposit if at least seventy-two (72) hours notice is provided before the scheduled appointment.

Deposits may also be transferred to a different service, artist, or available appointment date if at least seventy-two (72) hours notice is provided.

Appointments cancelled, rescheduled, or changed with less than seventy-two (72) hours notice will forfeit the deposit.

No-shows automatically forfeit any deposit paid.

The studio reserves the right to require a new deposit before future appointments are scheduled.

REFUND POLICY

All sales are final.

No refunds will be provided for:

  • Deposits

  • Completed services

  • Partially completed services

  • Training programs

  • Apprenticeships

  • Workshops

  • Certifications

  • Online courses

  • Digital products

  • Memberships

  • Missed appointments

  • Missed training sessions

Results vary by individual and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

Dissatisfaction with healed results, color retention, fading, healing response, personal preference, lifestyle factors, medical conditions, or failure to follow instructions does not qualify for a refund.

RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Permanent makeup, tattooing, scar camouflage, stretch mark revision, SMP, paramedical tattooing, and related services are artistic procedures and results will vary from person to person.

The studio makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Final healed results

  • Color retention

  • Number of sessions required

  • Healing outcomes

  • Longevity of results

  • Business, licensing, or financial outcomes from training programs

Additional sessions may be required and may incur additional fees.

PRE-CARE, AFTERCARE & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Clients are responsible for following all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided by the studio.

Failure to follow instructions may negatively impact results and may require additional paid appointments.

The studio is not responsible for complications or unsatisfactory results resulting from failure to follow instructions, undisclosed medical conditions, medications, lifestyle choices, or other factors outside of the studio’s control.

MEDICAL DISCLOSURE

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy status, and any other relevant health information.

The studio reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or discontinue services if treatment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

TRAINING, APPRENTICESHIP & EDUCATION POLICIES

All tuition payments, deposits, enrollment fees, certification fees, workshop fees, mentorship fees, and apprenticeship fees are non-refundable.

Enrollment in a course, workshop, certification, mentorship, apprenticeship, or training program does not guarantee:

  • Licensure

  • Certification approval

  • Employment

  • Income

  • Business success

  • Client acquisition

Students are solely responsible for complying with all state, local, licensing, and regulatory requirements applicable to their jurisdiction.

The studio reserves the right to remove any student from a program for misconduct, harassment, disruptive behavior, safety concerns, policy violations, academic dishonesty, copyright violations, or actions that negatively impact the learning environment.

Removal from a program does not entitle the student to a refund.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All educational materials, online courses, manuals, videos, templates, worksheets, presentations, downloads, and training content remain the intellectual property of the studio.

Materials may not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, recorded, sold, taught, or republished without written permission.

Violation of this policy may result in removal from programs without refund and may result in legal action.

PHOTOS & MARKETING

The studio may use photographs, videos, audio recordings, student work, service results, and related content for educational, marketing, advertising, portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes.

Clients and students who wish to opt out must notify the studio in writing prior to their appointment or training.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The studio reserves the right to refuse, cancel, discontinue, or decline service, enrollment, or participation at any time for any lawful reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, inappropriate conduct, harassment, intoxication, undisclosed medical conditions, or violations of studio policies.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By booking, purchasing, enrolling, attending, or participating in any service or program, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empress Ink Tattoo, Empress Tattoo Academy, BrowsWithYena, and all affiliated owners, artists, instructors, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any damages, losses, injuries, complications, costs, claims, or expenses arising from services, treatments, trainings, educational programs, or participation in studio activities.

By proceeding with any booking, purchase, enrollment, or appointment, you expressly waive any claim for refunds, consequential damages, lost profits, emotional distress, dissatisfaction with results, or other claims except where prohibited by applicable law.

POLICY UPDATES

These Terms & Conditions may be updated, modified, or revised at any time without prior notice.

The version published on our website at the time of booking shall govern the transaction.

BY BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT, PAYING A DEPOSIT, PURCHASING A SERVICE, ENROLLING IN TRAINING, OR OTHERWISE DOING BUSINESS WITH US, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.
